Do you know what the 1st multinational corporation was, and also the 1st to issue stock?
The Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie or VOC in old-spelling Dutch, literally “United East Indian Company”) was established in 1602, when the States-General of the Netherlands granted it a 21-year monopoly to carry out colonial activities in Asia. It was the first multinational corporation in the world and the first company to issue stock.[1] In addition, the VOC possessed quasi-governmental powers, including the ability to wage war, negotiate treaties, coin money, and establish colonies.[2]
Soul Food @ Hard Knox Cafe - San Francisco, CA

Nothing can cure some days other than a big fat meal of soul food. My great friend JoeMack took me to this tiny secret treasure of a hole in the wall just about a mile south of the SF Giant’s Baseball Park (now called AT&T Park, changes every year or so). I had a healthy serving of ribs dripping in BBQ sauce, with collard greens, the creamiest mac ‘n cheese I’ve ever had in my life, two fresh corn bread muffins, and two vanilla creme soda’s. OHHHHHHH, HEAVEN! Go now!

I just discovered Spencer Tunick by accident, which is always fun… discovering something amazing. Spencer takes amazing photos of people naked together… I love it. In fact, you can sign up to be in one here.
From Wikipedia:
Spencer Tunick (born January 1, 1967) is an American artist. Tunick was born in Middletown, New York, USA. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College in 1988. He is best known for his installations that feature large numbers of nude people posed in artistic formations. In these images the nude form becomes abstract due to the sheer number so closely placed together. Known as installations, they are often situated in urban locations throughout the world. He also has done some “Beyond The City” woodland and beach installations and still does individuals and small groups occasionally.

I like the web2.0 looks of it… I don’t like all of the modules that you have to buy, but hey, everything in life isn’t free, eh?
