Searchmash is a test that Google is doing to see how people respond to different styles of search. They intentionally left out the Google brand to get a genuince response from the public, but if you read the terms or check the WHOIS, you’ll notice it is owned by Google.

Microsoft AdCenter Cheaper than Adsense

I’ll write more on this when I get a chance to test it out myself, but I’ve heard Adsense will eat up your budget real fast, compared to the cheap traffic you can generate from Microsoft Ad Center.
